MOPS
stands
for
Mothers
of
Preschoolers.
MOPS
exists
to
meet
the
needs
of
every
mom
-
urban,
suburban,
and
rural
moms,
stay-at-home
and
working
moms,
teen,
single,
and
married
moms
-
moms
with
different
lifestyles
who
all
share
a
similar
desire
to
be
the
very
best
moms
they
can
be!
MOPS
recognizes
that
the
years
from
infancy
to
kindergarten
are
foundational
in
a
mother-child
relationship
and
are
filled
with
unique
needs.
Harborside
Church
is
proud
to
sponsor
our
MOPS
group.
We
provide
a
caring,
accepting
atmosphere
for
today's
mothers
to
grow
and
share
their
experiences
with
other
women.
Our
monthly
meeting
consists
of
fellowship
together
with
our
moms
over
breakfast
and
coffee
with
prayer,
speakers,
crafts,
and
discussion
time.
This
is
a
time
for
encouragement,
understanding,
and
relaxation.
Moms
have
needs.
Not
only
a
sense
of
belonging
but,
the
need
to
reach
out
to
each
other.
Harborside
MOPS
gives
moms
the
opportunity
to
reach
out
to
each
other
with
understanding
and
helpful
gestures,
like
trading
child
care,
sharing
food,
and
giving
encouragement.
We
meet
those
needs
and
reassure
that
mothering
matters
and
mothers
matter.
Unlike
a
playgroup
or
Moms
Morning
Out,
MOPS
is
a
morning
where
moms
and
their
children
can
learn
and
grow
under
the
same
roof,
but
separately.
MOPS
is
an
international
organization
that
claims
Jesus
Christ
as
our
foundation.
However
MOPS
is
not
a
Bible
study
time.
Moms
meet
together
while
their
children
play
in
their
designated
MOPPETS
class.
MOPS
helps
moms
through
relationships
established
in
the
context
of
local
groups.
We
provide
a
caring
atmosphere
to
meet
the
needs
of
today’s
mother.
MOPS
also
encourages
and
supports
moms
through
the
resources
available
at
their
website
mops.org.
